Green oasis in the heart of Milan

A park covering 47 hectares, designed in the late 1800s imitating the style of English gardens, it is a favorite green oasis for Milanese and tourists alike.

Strolling through the park today allows visitors to encounter, in all seasons, flowers and foliage in enchanting colors and shapes, as well as numerous recreational and leisure spaces for adults and children. Along the park are important historical and institutional buildings of the city, such as the Castello Sforzesco, the Gianni Brera Arena, the Arco della Pace, the Milan Triennale and the Civic Aquarium.

In addition to relaxation, the park lends itself to two educational botanical trails organized by the Voluntary Ecological Guards; to outdoor sports activities among running, life and cycling trails; and to participation in numerous shows, concerts and events organized at the Brera Area.
